Bozeman Reads Early Learning Center

The Bozeman Reads Early Learning Center at Morning Star Elementary is focused on supporting the literacy needs of students prior to entry to kindergarten. The programming is directly tied to the District’s early literacy Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) goal: By 2025, 85% of all children entering Kindergarten will have requisite literacy skills as measured by Acadience literacy assessment.

Bozeman Reads was launched in collaboration with the Bozeman Schools Foundation (fundraising partner) to provide programming and coordination with community partners to make the early literacy goal a reality. Opening of the Bozeman Reads Early Learning Center will utilize funds from HB352 to take early literacy programming to the next level in the District. Programming provided by the Center will include:

  2. Bozeman Reads Classroom-Based Program is for four-year-olds during the school year (Half and full day options - 4 days per week) - Launch Date August 2024
