High School Transfer Process

Both high schools offer a comprehensive educational program and high school students (grades 9–12) shall attend the school designated for their respective attendance areas (see official high school map HERE). Exceptions to the enrollment attendance areas may be granted by the Superintendent or designee based on adherence to federal guidelines related to Special Education and the McKinney-Vento Act (Policy #3125).

Other exceptions will be prioritized as follows:

  1. Legal/Safety
  2. Health
  3. Academic
  4. Siblings
  5. Children of Staff
  6. Other Requests

To initiate a request for transfer, please refer to the High School In-District Transfer Policy and Procedure below, complete the Form, and submit to the principal of your attendance area school

Transfer Application Deadlines:

  • Submit forms between April 15 - May 15 for a transfer starting at the beginning of the school year.
  • Submit forms between October 15 - December 15 for a transfer beginning after Semester 1.
