The high school offers four years of Latin and five years of French, German, and Spanish. The fifth-year courses are designed to prepare students to take the national Advanced Placement (AP) exam in their language. Many colleges and universities give students several hours of credit for successful completion of the AP Exam. Only students who have started their language study in eighth grade can qualify to take the fifth-year AP courses when they are seniors.
