Welcome to the Traffic Education Program!

The application period for Spring Session is closed. No other applications will be accepted. The next available Traffic Ed session is Summer A Session. For Summer A & B information, click on the Traffic Ed Program Info & Schedules link.

Spring Session
: March 27 - May 2 (No class April 12 and April 29) 
Class times are Monday - Friday, 4 - 6 p.m., with 6 required 2-hr drive times that can be 6 - 8 a.m., 6 - 8 p.m., PIR days and Saturdays. Schedule is set by the instructor and will be available the first few days of class.
Spring Acceptance and Wait Lists PostedFriday, Feb. 15, on the BHS Main Office glass doors and outside our office in the Willson Building, Room 227.
*If you do not make it into the session, you must reapply for subsequent sessions.
Spring Letter of Acceptance: IF your student is accepted, you will receive an emailed acceptance letter on Friday, Feb. 15. Wait list students do not receive notification.

Summer A Session: May 21 - June 26 (No classes on 5/24 and 5/27)
Students with a birthdate on or before Nov. 21, 2004, are eligible to apply. Classes are filled with the oldest students first. It is not first come first served.
This is one session comprised of both school dates and summer dates. May 21 - June 6 class times are Monday-Friday, 4 - 6 p.m. June 7 - June 26 class times are Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Drive times for the school portion can be 6 - 8 a.m., 6 - 8 p.m., PIR days and Saturdays. The summer portion drives can be anytime before or after class and Saturdays. The schedule is set by the instructor and will be given the first few days of class.
Summer A Application Period:
 April 1 - 7 
Applications are submitted online only. The link will be active on Monday, April 1, at 9:00 a.m., and will be visible under the Traffic Education Program Information & Schedules link to the left of this page.
Before Applying: View the Online Application Instructions link (to the left of this page) as applications filled out incorrectly will be denied.
After Applying: A submission confirmation email titled "Automated Email Response" will be sent to the email address that was entered into the Parent/Guardian #1 field on the application and will be sent from If you do not receive this email, call 522-6013 by the end of the application period, so it can be verified that you have an application submitted. 

Application Process: There are 5 online-only application periods per year for Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer A and Summer B. Each session has its own application period. Check the Traffic Ed Program Information & Schedules link to the left of this page for dates.
