Read More: Montana has one of the highest suicide rates in the country for both adults and youth. Did you know that in Montana suicide cases where warning signs existed, 74% had at least 3 identified warning signs!

In this video created by Mayo Clinic, teens describe common signs of a teen considering suicide and provide encouragement for communicating directly and immediately for support and safety. It also includes suggestions for what to say to teens who may be at risk for suicide and ways to keep them safe. Things can get better.

Bozeman School District teaches SOS: Signs of Suicide. SOS is a school based curriculum that aims to raise awareness of suicide and reduce stigma of depression. It is taught in 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th grade.
