2017 Election

Dear Interested Community Members,

The 2017 school election season has arrived.  We have created this web site as a way to explain the issues that you will see on the May 2 ballot.

There are several issues on this year's ballot: trustee elections, requests for Elementary and High School operating levies, and a High School bond question.  We have separated the issues into links that are located on the left hand side of this page.  A "School Bond Election Costs" link is also available to help you estimate your property tax impact for the proposed bond issue.

On behalf of the students and staff of Bozeman Public Schools and our Board of Trustees, we hope you will study the issues and cast your ballot on May 2.

This year's ballots will be mailed on April 17.  They can be returned by mail or in person to the County Election Office.  Please allow enough time for delivery prior to the May 2, 2017 deadline.

If you should have questions on the ballot issues, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Sincerely,
Rob Watson
Superintendent
