Ashley Rolf-Batters Memorial Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount - $3000
  • This scholarship was established by Ashley's mother Melissa Batters a Bozeman High School alumnus in honor of her daughter Ashley who passed away in April of 2007 in a car accident in Montana. Ashley was a senior at Bozeman High School and was looking forward to attending college with scholarships. Ashley had a zest for life, loved animals and had a special talent and passion for auto mechanics. Melissa Batters, Ashley's mother hopes this scholarship money will benefit a female student financially and help them pursue their interest in auto mechanics. The funds are intended to be used by a current high school female senior who would like to pursue higher education. The educational institution may include trade, career programs as well as community college, college or university.

Criteria:

  • Application deadline including the letter of recommendation need to be completed and turned in by April 30th.
  • Student must be a graduating senior from Bozeman High School in the spring of 2009.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. This will be verified with the Guidance Office.
  • Scholarship recipient must write a quality Thank you note to Melissa Batters.
