TESTING! TESTING!

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Testing Schedule

CRT Measured Progress

Testing started this past Monday and will continue through March 12.  Make ups will be given the week after spring break.  Please avoid absences during this period of time.  This annual assessment is an important measure of growth for your child and the school.

Please let your child’s teacher know if you are not going to be here any days the week before or after spring break.  Thank you.

It is critical that all students be here for testing!

Tips for Parents:

·       Early to bed.  A good night’s sleep is very important the night before a big test.  Most children need at least 10 hours of sleep to perform their best.

·       Prepare a good breakfast.  Test morning is not the time for a high-sugar snack--or no breakfast at all.  A nutritious and filling breakfast is a must.

Keep things in focus.  Standardized tests are just one of the ways that schools evaluate children’s abilities.  Don’t believe--or let your child believe--that poor test results mark him or her as a failure.

Kindergarten and New Student Registration

The Bozeman Public Library will be hosting a New Student Registration Open House for Grades K-5 on Monday, March 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Enrollment packets will be available at the Open House on March 8 and at the Enrollment Office at the Willson School Building from March 8 – April 5.

Any questions, please call Liz in the Enrollment Office at 522-6005.
