This event is for parents, teachers, and caregivers with children of any age, and is not to be missed by anyone with an earnest desire to protect their children and better understand the technology-facilitated crimes that children are faced with today.
During the seminar police detectives will cover:
- Local case studies of child exploitation and abuse including the challenges faced by families and law enforcement in these types of cases.
- Child psychology.
- Proliferation of online exploitation, cyber-bulling, “sexting”, etc.
- Steps you can take to help keep your kids safe at home, in school, and online.
